Bloomberg headline, Russia's drone attacked oil refineries.

Ukraine has been targeting Russia's fuel processing plants,

goes to subhead.

And what's important here is the wave of strikes increasing over these last days started in January and they are

intended to hamper the supply of oil to the country's troops and cut funding for

the war. However, they've now hit some of the largest plants in the land. They're

undefended, including Rosnaffes PJS C's at Riazen. And Bloomberg is estimating that at some point 11%, perhaps 12% of Russian oil refinery capacity has been offline.

I welcome Michael Bernstom of the Hoover Institution who's followed the Russian

sanction story for some time. There's nothing like a sanction that goes bang.

Michael, a very good evening to you, not only has Ukraine hit refineriesineries they've given a picture of these what I'd

have to say hand-built crude-looking drones very large that are leading these

attacks the best the Russians have been able to come very large that are leading these attacks.

the protect their ships and the Black Sea is chain guns

along the edges of the ship to open up with these crude drones coming in. But I don't see large

refineries across a 1200 mile arc in Siberia putting chain machine guns out

to guard themselves.

They're extremely vulnerable.
