Trump and Mr. Vance suggested that it's Europe's business. Is that a rational conclusion for the

elements of confusion, many different thoughts about what needs to be done at this stage.

But I do think Europe has tried to be an independent factor and has wanted to be. It's not clear it can be.

I mean, they have serious problems in their own country, not that we don't, but it just seems

that it's a very, very weak stance to depend on

Europe. And, you know, Trump and Vance see Putin is ruthless, but rational. We'll make a deal

and stick to it if it meets Russia's essential conditions. They don't believe that Putin has any

intention of going on to attack NATO.

There's a difference in conception of how this war will end. They're those who believe they're
