Deep Sikh has stoked a rotation out of India stocks into Chinese equities.

But experts advise caution.

The quick backstory on Deep Seek is, surprising one Monday morning, China announced that it had matched the performance of ChatGPT, the large language model that is pacing the conversion to artificial intelligence by the known world, had matched the results with much less of an investment

into the building of the model. Since then, there have been contradictory headlines, but of

note here, the leadership of large tech companies such as Microsoft and Google have praised Deepseek as a worthy

rival. And I've heard it said repeatedly that it's good that we have competition. We respond

well to competition. All by ourselves, there's a tendency to drift and not focus.

What is your measure of deep seek?

There have been a lot of qualifications and this headline advising caution.

I think as an investor, I always focus more on the numbers, the reported numbers of a company, than I do the press releases to having successes or promise, because after all, most press releases are talking to people about good news.

It is certainly possible that Deep Seek is a revolutionary approach to making AI more useful and fruitful for everybody.

That's certainly possible.

But I think investors need to remember when they're putting risk capital into China,
