I just wanted the people who I love to be closer.

And it kind of became so much less important to like expand my world.

Instead, I just wanted to care more for and bring closer the people that I already really, really cared for. Let it out. Let it out.

This week I spoke to my friend and the founder and designer of Osma, California, my favorite clothing brand.

Her name is Heidi Baker.

And in this episode, we talk about her creative process, starting Osma, surfing, change, worry, presence, creativity, connection.

I love talking to her.

She's one of my favorite people and someone who really inspires me.

And I want to get to that conversation as quickly as possible.

A couple housekeeping items that I'm going to keep tight.

We are still in the summer session of the membership that used to be called creative underdogs

that I renamed recently to be called in process. And if you like this podcast, you'll love the membership.

It is a four-month membership. We do it in semesters. We're starting the new one in September.

And every single month, we meet three times a month once for a call about the theme where we all connect and talk about the theme of the month.

It's cyclical.

So each month has a theme, which is this positive feedback loop for creativity that I made up.

So first it's creating space, then gathering, taking in, inspiration, experiences, and then

trying, getting messy, and then sharing, and then we do it again and again and again.

And so we do a call about the theme, and then we do a co-working session together where we do

a productivity technique that I use.
