Hello, humans. For those of you watching on Patreon, we're just going to keep how I look a secret.

I think all of us could pinpoint a moment in our lives that changed us forever. And I imagine if

you're anything like me, the first thing you go to is probably not moments in your lives that

change you for the better. But the hard knocks, the cataclysmic events, the ones that leave scars behind,

and everybody has these kind of events.

Some of us have harder paths than others,

but I think everybody in their own subjective experience

knows exactly what I'm talking about right now.

It doesn't matter how many times you've been to hell and come back and reemerged.

Whenever you're in the middle of these moments, it always feels like you're never going to be

okay again.

If you're heartbroken that you'll never love again, if you've lost your confidence that

you'll never feel like the old you again there's a bit of truth

to that that i think is scary to admit that there are events that do change you Nate is somebody who

have known for a couple years now and when i was thinking about the guests i want to have at the end of

the year it was people who i've loved and enjoyed for a long time and had a personal relationship

with and just haven't had them on the show yet I asked if he could squeeze us in and he did this

episode's long and I think it speaks for itself I think it speaks about what it means to be human

and what it means to be somebody who's healing we're all healing to varying degrees you may relate to Nate's healing journey or

you may not but I think no matter what no matter where you come from and what you've

been through if you listen truly for the commonality you'll hear a lot about what

it means to be human when I think about the most transformational moment in my life,
