Welcome to episode 1,844 of the Daily Meditation Podcast. I'm Mary Meckley and I'm honored you are here to give yourself permission to slow down and connect to the best part of who you are. In today's episode, you will be guided in a meditation to help you relieve stress.

the focus of stress relief will be regarding one of the most requested topics I receive and that is having to do with relationships.

You may have decided to meditate because you are dealing with stress in relationships, with loved ones,

with friends, family, family, children, neighbors, colleagues,

it can be stressful dealing with other people. And so as you go through this series, I encourage you to select

one particular relationship that you find stressful and you'll work your way

through this relationship using different meditation techniques each day for a week, starting today.

And the relationship you select doesn't necessarily have to be a relationship with someone who is living.

Maybe you struggled with someone who is no longer physically with us,

and you want to lay to rest some of the stress you felt in your relationship.

Or you may have ended a relationship with someone,

yet when you think about this relationship it still causes you stress.

In fact, I would say that those are the most common types of relationship issues people seem to have is with past relationships

and there are grievances that are still harbored and it's really difficult to let those go.

You may want to focus on a relationship you are currently in and you find it stressful. You may have always found it

stressful. This might be a great chance to finally address the stress in this particular relationship.
