Welcome to episode 1835. Welcome to your daily guided meditation. How are you doing?

As you rely on yourself, one of the most important ways to build trust is to begin to test yourself

by relying on yourself for things that maybe you normally rely on others for.

And when you do this consistently over time, you will notice that you build confidence and trust yourself more.

And this works best when you start small. As always, simplify and start small.

You can always build up to bigger tests of reliance on yourself as you get better and better at relying on yourself

and as you gain more confidence. In today's episode, you are going to be guided as you layer this week's meditation techniques together in one meditation.

And this is a fantastic way to meditate every time you sit down to meditate.

When you layer together the different techniques, you find that you're able to calm your mind and body much more thoroughly.

And remember that when your mind wanders, which it likely will, every time you sit down to meditate, that's so common even with long time meditators.

Focus on the techniques to help you refocus your thoughts so that you can go into that inner stillness.

And if I had to choose one meditation technique that works the best at focusing your mind, I would have to say that would be a breathing technique.

When you're able to calm your breath, you instantly calm the rest of your body.

Your emotional state and your breath are interconnected. So you can help to calm your emotions simply by calming your breath.

So take advantage of these techniques. There's a lot more research going on every day about how meditation techniques work and how they work better in many cases than even some stress relief medications.

Of course, you don't want to go off your medication if you do take medications.

But just know that you are able to combine meditation with anything else you're currently doing to ramp up your results for peace, energy and clarity even more.

Where you push yourself a little bit beyond your comfort zone. And this will help you to become more confident in yourself.

Meditation can become a little heavy and a little serious. So the more you can inject some lightheartedness or fun into a series, the better you're going to enjoy your meditation ritual.
