Welcome to Radio Headspace and to Tuesday.

So like many of you, I've had to navigate the sea of life's overwhelming tasks and responsibilities.

And through it all, I've come to understand the significance of prioritization. A while back I was on a yoga teaching tour, writing for a

yoga magazine, and doing a podcast all at the same time. It felt like being caught in a relentless tide of tasks that

threatened to sweep me away. There was always something more to do. I was

completely overwhelmed. I gradually began to understand the importance of

focusing on what truly mattered. I began prioritizing myself and I let go of one task and eventually one job at a time

so I could rest.

It wasn't easy, but here I am, healthy, awake, and better able to take on the next thing.

So with that said, today is all about how to set priorities,

a skill that when combined with mindfulness can

drastically improve our efficiency and peace of mind. Now the first thing to

consider friends is that prioritizing isn't about doing more.

It's about doing what matters.
