Santos, now the author of the new book The Fabulous, The Story of George Sentos,

well we know, what we don't know, what we can guess at, now expelled from the House of Representatives.

What Mark finds most intriguing is the patterns, the patterns he recognizes in Sentos life. The con yes but the setup the long time

befriending and then. Here's Mark explaining what he learned what you can learn from man who makes things up spontaneously

Yeah, what sort of struck me was how this how many patterns in Santos' life had continued kind of all through his life

right now it wasn't just kind of he wasn't learning some new lying behavior later in life just for politics he wasn't trying

new schemes later in life he had always kind of been doing this hustle and in the book I write about

how you know when he's in Brazil, he has this kind of mooching relationship with his grandmother, his elderly grandmother, who, you know, her old doorman told me that she went to church every day you know very kind of elderly nice old woman and he's kind of mooching off her

I also ran a book about how he stole from his aunt Elma, who was herself an immigrant to Queens from Brazil, and he's kind of taking from her.

She, by the way, is one of the reasons that he's out free right now.

She was part of his, you know, she signed his bond
