That led to, within nine weeks, Woodrow Wilson asking Congress to declare war in Germany.

In 1930, 1940, Germany again using submarine warfare to cut off Britain to starve it.

That led to the US throwing everything we had in the arsenal of democracy in defense of

Great Britain.

Britain falls, Europe falls, and the US is immediately vulnerable to German depredation

in the Atlantic.

1941 Pearl Harbor and the US was in the war.
