Relations Committee, traveling the earth as vice president, he'd been given portfolios,

critical portfolios such as Georgia and Ukraine by President Obama, how he would approach

the contest with China, with Russia, with the Middle East.

And right away we had what you'd say in novel telling was foreshadowing, weighing he,

then the foreign minister of China, who's a deft and aggressive rhetorician and has

very excellent English, was in Anchorage, Alaska, with the Secretary of State, Mr. Blinken,

and the National Security Advisor, Mr. Sullivan.

And he excoriated, Mr. Blinken and Sullivan for the obvious America enforcing its rules

and enhancing its allies, especially Taiwan.

What did that incident tell you about the months to follow and the years to follow of the
