Welcome back to day two of the series. We're exploring this week. This week the

theme is all about radical self-acceptance. And this is episode 2,911. I'm Mary

for a treat because in yesterday's episode you add the opportunity to listen to

an interview with a fellow meditator, Jayada. And Jayada hails from New York. She is a

communications specialist at a college. She also homeschools her children and she is

an ADHD coach. She's been meditating regularly for the past three years since the

pandemic. And during that time she was diagnosed with ADHD. So her doctor recommended

she try meditation. And if you had the chance to listen to her interview you will hear how

important breathing techniques became for Jayada. So in tomorrow's episode you're going

to be guided in a breathing technique as you are in day three of every episode. First though

in day two of every episode you're guided with an affirmation. And Jayada selected a very

special affirmation for you. This is an affirmation I've shared with you in the past. And it's

one of my favorites too. I want to share a little insight with you regarding the week's theme.

And then I'm going to guide you as you repeat this affirmation. An affirmation is a positive

statement that helps you to focus your mind on what you hope for what you aspire to.

The theme that Jayada selected radical self acceptance she thought long and hard about. In fact

it wasn't until after our pre-interview so I always interview guests for a short time before

I interview them. And she shared with me that she had a couple ideas of theme selections and she

wasn't sure which one to zero in on. So we spoke and she finally said I know now that I want to do

radical self acceptance. So I thought I would share with you exactly what radical self acceptance

represents. It represents a conscious effort to acknowledge and honor difficult situations
