In today's episode you're going to be guided using a breathing technique to calm your mind and body instantly.

And I want to share with you as well a little insight about telomeres.

And yesterday's episode you discovered how important it is to have positive, healthy relationships in your life

and that it can actually prolong your life.

And there's a scientist, Dr. Elizabeth Blackburn, who is a Nobel Peace Prize laureate for the work she did on telomeres.

A telomere is a region of repetitive DNA sequences at the end of a chromosome.

Dr. Elizabeth Blackburn and her team discovered that the shorter a telomere becomes the shorter your lifespan.

There are certain ways to lengthen telomeres that also help to extend your lifespan.

And one of the most powerful ways is by improving your relationships.

The people you spend the most time with have great impact on your health and the science suggests the length of your telomeres.

So as you improve your relationships this week you've been invited to focus on one relationship you like to improve and you have a daily challenge to work towards improving that relationship every single day.

Your challenge this week is to journal every day or mentally reflect on the quality of your relationships for that day.

So before you go to bed at night as you reflect over the day think about the different exchanges you experienced in your relationships.

Notice what really uplifted you or what brought you down.

This will leave clues as to the kinds of people that are actually helping to potentially improve your lifespan.
