I'm Mary Mechley and I welcome you to day three of this series you're exploring this week.

0:16.0

This week you are giving yourself an experience of inner peace every single day.

0:25.0

That in fact is your challenge for this week. It is to experience peace firsthand.

0:34.0

You may never have thought about what peace feels like within your body.

0:42.0

Peace and any emotion isn't simply a concept to think about.

0:49.0

It's an experience to give yourself and when you give yourself the experience of peace you want more and more of it.

1:01.0

And this is one reason why many people begin to crave their meditation rituals because they begin to experience beautiful emotions such as peace, energy, clarity.

1:18.0

Joy, all these beautiful emotions that can seem evasive as you go throughout a busy hectic day.

1:28.0

When you sit in stillness this is your time to give yourself an actual experience where you feel within your body.

1:40.0

You feel it in your bonds this experience of peace.

1:46.0

2:07.0

So you can't think your way to love. You can't think your way to joy or peace.

So experiencing the emotions firsthand is the only way to begin to manifest them in your life.

2:29.0

So I want to let you know that I have a meditation app that I mentioned to you regularly about how to find longer guided meditations.

2:46.0

2:58.0

Absolutely free. I share more insight. I share longer guided meditations on the app.

3:07.0

They're 30 minute daily guided experiences. So I show up there every day just like I show up here for you.

3:15.0

And the difference between the app and the podcast also is that the app provides you with a lot of additional tools that many people tell me are an indispensable part of their experience as they go through a weekly series.

3:31.0

So this is the daily reflection journal with a daily reflection question. And remember this is all customized brand new every week for the week's theme taking you deeper into the theme.

3:46.0

You also receive what is called a slow down guide. It has every technique I share with you in a series at your fingertips.

3:55.0

So you don't have to go back and listen to what was that breathing technique or what was that mood or what was that affirmation. I also share with you a recommended book as well as an herb for the week because herbs can benefit you in a similar way as do meditation techniques.
