This is episode 1,590. Welcome to the Daily Meditation podcast. I'm Mary Meckley, and I honor you for showing up for yourself today as you get ready to meditate.

And in today's episode, you're going to be guided in a meditation to help you

So I believe that my sound is being picked up on my laptop microphone. So if I don't sound

quite as clear today, then that is the reason. So I will have to get a new microphone

as you've gone through the series to simplify.

And part of simplifying is coming to a place where you feel inner peace.

That's really the only reason why you would want to simplify.

So when it gets to the point where maybe the amount of things you have in your home as far as physical possessions, or the time you spend with others,

or the thoughts you think are not helping to bring you peace.

That's usually the point when you feel, okay, it's time to start filtering things out,

getting rid of things and simplifying.

So as you do today's meditation, I want you to know that everything you need

is within you. The tools, the techniques, the motivation is there within you when you allow yourself this state of inner stillness that you find when you meditate.
