Welcome to Untangle. I'm Patricia Carpice. In today's special edition of Untangle, I'm sharing my morning gratitude practice from our gratitude collection on the meditation studio app. We all have days where it can be challenging to focus on what we're grateful for. We may be busy, overwhelmed with work or family, and the days just speed by.

But it always, always helps us feel better when we can focus on that which gives us joy,

on that which fills our bucket.

This holiday, I wish you much joy, and I hope that you're surrounded by love in whatever form that takes for you.

Now, here's the morning gratitude practice.

Find a comfortable position, either seated or lying down.

If you're sitting down in a chair or on the floor,

I invite you to sit with a straight spine with the top of your head reaching to the sky.

If you prefer the floor or even your bed first thing in the morning, lie on your back with your arms resting gently by your sides.

We'll start by taking some deep breaths to ease into the day.

Breathe in on three counts. One, and breathe out on three counts one two three and breathe out on three

three let's take a minute to do this on our own as we start the day.

And while you're breathing, just scan your body for any little aches and pains and breathe

Oh, Now? Now, let's focus inward on what is most meaningful to you in your life right now.

It's a big question, but a simple one.

It may be your family, your friends, your colleagues, your home,

We move so fast in our lives that we don't often take the time to stop and take note of
