it can find, not only for Ukraine, but also for Russia, hence the visit by Kim to Vastachni

to talk about relationship with Russia, chiefly buying as many ammo rounds as they can

find for the artillery, but that is also a problem for Ukraine, and searching for ways to

resupply Ukraine, which is a mixed system, the new stuff from America, but the old stuff

from the Soviet era. I welcome Arif Rafik of globally news, writing up this challenge to

Pakistan and also an opportunity. Arif Rafayansistan correctly, Pakistan is acknowledging not only

that it has artillery rounds that can suit the legacy Soviet weaponry in Ukraine, but also

it has a defense business that's firing up the engines to supply. Is that correct? And

what does the defense industry look like? Is it growing? Is it large in Pakistan? Good

Hi, John. Thank you for having me on. Well, you know, the Bucsani's are not acknowledging

publicly acknowledging their weapons sales to the West, to the US and other Western powers

of weapons that are headed toward Ukraine. But these sales have been disclosed in numerous

reports, including by me on globally news. And then also the intercept has now reported

on secret documents, classified documents that relate to it that disclose these sales

by the Bucsani government to the United States. And so, you know, what Pakistan is doing

is not it's not providing any really sophisticated equipment to the Ukrainians, but it has its

own. It's in terms of developing building munitions and artillery. It is self-sufficient

in that capacity and it has some excess capacity because it's not really at a state of war

at least externally. And so, the Bucsani's have been supplying the United States and

other powers with some of its excess inventory. And also, it's been manufacturing new munitions
