Getting ready to go out that night,

and we would make, like, an espresso,

we had a little espresso machine in the kitchen,

and we'd make a drink out of it.

And we kind of looked around and said,

okay, all of our friends, a ton of our family,

everyone's doing the same thing or something really similar.

And we were frustrated that we had a really limited lack of options at the time.

The only option was I can go get, you know, an energy drink and mix that with vodka,

filling your body with sugar and carbs and synthetic caffeine just wasn't at all what we wanted to do.

Not what one of our friends or family wanted to do either.

Not to mention you're going to be hung over for like two days afterwards.

And the other option was to go get an espresso martini or like a coffee cocktail or cold brew cocktail, which as you know we're getting really, really popular.

But the first issue there is as a consumer, that's a pretty big inconvenience having to go to a bartender to get that drink for me.

At the same time, bartenders don't like making those drinks because they're so heavy lit.

And lastly, you still haven't really solved the problem with the sugar and the carb and the dairy

and everything.

So our vision was let's create a better alternative to alcohol plus caffeine.

And we defined that as alcohol-infused cold brew coffee.
