I'm a filmmaker and directing instructor in Los Angeles, California.

Hello everyone.

This is John Rokum, a writer, producer and host here in Los Angeles.

Oh no, in San Diego now, of course, and Steve, we're coming together for a little bit

of a somber moment yet again.

This is one of the things that we have to tackle at times on the Cinefiles, brother.

It's true, although, you know, in fact, the last several of these that we've done have

all been for people who have lived long, full lives, and so not, it's not like someone

was taken away unexpectedly, we're here to honor the great, great Ned Bady, and the thing

that's interesting, the previous two, which were a Clores Leechman and George Siegel,

like Ned Bady are people that had long, massive varied careers who did comedy, who did drama,

who were nominated for Oscars, I mean, like these are, these are the great working actors

in Ned Bady.

Certainly one of them.

Absolutely.

And someone who, as I've said numerous times, could play status from the most submissive

person to the most dominant person.

And it's one of the gifts of his talent and his enduring legacy to be able to work for

so many decades and create so many memorable moments and films and memorable characters.

Well, it's funny what you say about status because we've done three films with Ned Bady
