Hi, this is Steve.

Almost since the beginning of the cinephiles,

people have been asking us when are you going to tackle the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

After all, the Marvel movies have broken box office records,

introduced the world to a seemingly endless cast of amazing characters,

and fundamentally changed the film industry.

And yet, up to this point, we've only discussed one MCU film on the show,

and that was four years ago when we explored the one that started it all, Iron Man.

Still, while John and I are certainly interested in talking about these movies,

after all, we're both fans, we just weren't sure of the right way to tackle them.

Well, guess what? We finally have a plan,

and we're going to announce that plan live this Sunday, June 20th,

at 3pm Pacific time on our YouTube channel.

But we're actually going to do more than that.

You see, we recently got a short suggestion from one of our patrons, Jack Pughes,

who, in addition to being a fan of the cinephiles,

is also a fan of the top 10 show, where he recently heard John in his partner, Matt Nost,

list their top 10 MCU movies.

Now, Jack was curious about my top 10,

and John thought that discussion sounded more like an episode of the cinephiles live.

And so that's exactly what we're going to do.
