In the decades I have been building my own career, there's really been just one thing that is true and that's

They think in predictions, they generally bet against conventional wisdom, they're often very

competitive.

Nate Silver would tell you that they're the kind of people who are really good at poker.

Now you may have heard of Nate Silver. He founded and ran a website called 538.

Nate became famous for his accurate projections for the 2008 and 2012 presidential elections.

His site was licensed for several years by the New York Times and then Walt Disney's E-P-N purchased it outright

a decade ago.

But before all of that, before Nate got into politics, he was a professional poker player.

Nade'll tell you that poker is actually what gave him the foundation to understand
