Welcome to Karen Hunter is awesome.

I am Karen Hunter, and a lot of how we learn about the world is to our elders.

And I have the honor of sitting with people because I sit behind this microphone and extract goodness and wisdom.

I don't have any grandparents.

All my grandparents are gone.

But I do have people like Mary Francis Berry that I can pick up the phone and at least fight her on to the show because I'm not selfish.

I want everybody to hear what she has to say. She's 88 years old. She's been on this radio show on the Karen Hunter show on Sirius X-N four times. And this last time I invited her on because there was a clip going viral about her talking about Stokely Carmichael and the things she learned from the Black Panthers. And I said, this is a good time to have this conversation again.

So I invited her back and her perspective on these times,

please, please pay attention.

This woman has lived through a lot of things.

And this is different, a little bit different.

But she also gave us a way forward, which I wholeheartedly believe in in its community.

It's us.
