Yo, what's good? This is Rich and you're listening to The Mental Wealth Show, where it's all about health,

healing, and high performance. And at the time I'm recording this episode, it is 2.30 p.m. on Monday, December 16th, apparently, this is when the iron is hot.

And this actually ties into what I'm going to talk about today because for several weeks before this, I've sat down to try and record an episode.

And it has been an absolute struggle.

I'm talking I sit down.

I have an outline.

I have everything laid out the way that I think that I wanted to go.

And then I start talking.

And it felt like I was forcing it.

So for these past few weeks, it's really felt like I was forcing it. And I was thinking to myself, man, I really enjoy podcasting. I enjoy editing. I know that once I get going, once I get through

the first few minutes, that I get into a rhythm, why is this extra difficult right now?

And I noticed a few things when I thought about this. One, there have been times where I feel

passionate about something. And I say, you know what, that would be a great topic. I can't wait

to talk about that in the podcast whenever I record next. But then by the time that I sit down to

record, the energy and the attached authenticity behind that energy has subsided. And then that's

what leads to the feeling of forcing it. And I'm like, man, I was passionate about this two weeks

ago. I had some excellent points then, but I don't got that same juice now. And that happened

around election stuff. That happened around honeymoon stuff, which was

fantastic, by the way. And it's happened with a couple of other topics since things where I typed.
