I'm Morgan Freeman at a pretty controversial interview with Variety magazine.

He apparently has never been quiet about disliking Black History Month and he doubled down

on it in a new interview.

He says, quote, of course all about Black History Month, he says,

I detest it, the mere idea of it. You're going to give me the shortest month in a year and you're

going to celebrate quote unquote my history this whole idea makes my teeth

it's not right and then he adds and a much more humorous quote my history is

American history it's the one thing in this world I'm interested in beyond

making money, having a good time, and getting enough sleep, which is

relatable. But yeah, he's doubling down on this take that I guess he's just

always had and I found it to be very shocking.

I feel like most people wouldn't come out and say this about Black History Month

especially when you're a person of color.
