a special edition of the Monday Morning Podcast is what I should be saying. Every once in

a while, I'm graced with the guest and, you know, so you get an extra episode this week.

All right. So that's an extra hour in your cubicle that you can actually not want to kill

yourself and going to get right to it. My guest this week is somebody I've known, I think, for

about 17 years, I was thinking Jim Florentine. Jim Florentine. Yeah, man, it's good to see. Yeah,

it's probably bad. I mean, we didn't, you know, we never did too many gigs together or anything

like that. We were always, you know, you were doing your thing. I was doing mine. But you came up

in Jersey and I was the suburbs of Boston. But I always felt like you guys, you Norton

Voss, that whole crew, even though Voss probably started in the 70s. Yeah. But I'm just saying it.

Like you guys kind of had the same thing where you weren't in New York City. Like we both had to

like migrate there. And I feel like when I started coming, I started coming down in New York with

Patrice in like 94, 95, moved there in like 95. And I don't think I saw you when you had the long

hair. I think you had your hair cut by then, didn't you? Yeah. Well, 92, 93 is one me in the

Norton, tried to start going to New York City and just, you know, one really part of us. Yeah.

And then about 94, 95, but whenever a croco band came out, like 93, late 94 when he died,

oh, when he came out, no, when the, when the, when the, when the, he came out like 96,

all right? No, he came out in September 91. And then he died in April 94. And I only know that

because of my love of metal and metal was over and all of a sudden, I thought he was a douche

when I first saw him when he was doing like making fun of the tap on solos and that smells like

teen spirit. I knew he was making fun of metal. And I just was, I thought the guy was a dick.
