I know it's really looking forward to this week, this was major interviewing with the big

brother program.

This was the close out week for me, if you will.

So I was looking forward to it because I can finally say that I have completed the process

of attempting to become a big brother.

And if you've not heard my journey of this started for me a couple of months back when

I was inspired by one of our BBA kids landing the connection that we had and that we built.

It got me to thinking that maybe I should actually look into trying to build that connection

with a little, which is what the big brother program is all about.

So for people who may have never heard about it, it is a program where you can sign up

and you can apply and they will try to figure out your lifestyle experiences and the things

that you're into and try to match you with a little who can kind of use that and where

you can be a positive influence in their life.

And so it started off with a lot of the applications.

You got to fill out a lot of paperwork and then I got up to the point where there was a

two-hour training session that you had to go through where they pretty much tell you

about the entire program, all of the things that look forward to and how to react in different

situations that you might find yourself in and then once you get past that, there's a

two-hour interview, which I was looking forward to for a couple reasons.

For one, I was excited for the process to close and for two, I hadn't had an interview

like a true one-on-one interview in a very long time.

And I'm not the person that gets nervous over interviews, but I do like anticipate them.
