Hey, Pertio, my name is Sierra Manson and I am the chorus teacher at Hill Grove High School

in Travis Springs, Georgia, and Cobb County.

I would love if y'all were able to clear my list this school year.

I am a fifth year teacher going into my fifth year teaching high school chorus.

I just finished my master's degree in music education and now I'm really excited to be in Cobb County

where I got my undergraduate degree and I did my student teaching.

My goal as an educator is to create a space where my students feel confident and they feel that they can make mistakes and grow

and know that it's okay and that they're going to become better people and better musicians because of it.

And so, part of my goal in creating these young adults, helping them to become confident is to support them in any way I can and help them be comfortable.

I found solace in the fire room when I was a high school student and I was a huge part of why I wanted to be a high school choir teacher.
