My streak is for the last three shows at 4 a.m. As soon as they get up, I'm going into the garret alone in the dark. So if I turn the lights on, it illuminates upstairs and wakes up my wife. And I get on my petan and I work out at 4 a.m. It is awful. It sounds terrible. No, no, I'm really angry. 4 a.m. It's 4 a.m. And I'm listening to this. As Dennis, my instructor starts to go, come on. Peloton crew, let's go. I'm angry. I'm almost actually crying with what in my life have left to this at 53 to try and get into shape at 4 a.m. It's cold in the garage as well. I'm wearing a jacket. For the first time, it's a jacket. My cat Larry even came in this morning just look at me, smugly, stare at me. I could tell he was judging me. I was like, judge away. You don't know what it's like at 53. You've got to get out of bed, stop burning fat and get into shape. That's very, it's... |

| 2:17.4 | Because actually you're telling yourself you can do something really hard immediately. It's horrible, it's unpleasant. You push through resistance. Because the first 10 or 15 minutes, even this morning, I'm going to stop doing this. I'll do it tomorrow. It's the first week back after Nisabay. You know those stories? Negotiating with yourself. negotiating with yourself Why don't you go and have a cup of tea and a cookie right now? That actually would be a nice thing to do at 4 a.m. Rather than peddling for the next 45 minutes, sweating in your garage alone. In the dark, it's a horrible way. It's cold. But you know what's a great way to warm up? Get on an exercise |
| 2:52.2 | bike. How long does it take to start not feeling horrible? 20 minutes. My lord, that 4 a.m. |
