Hi everyone, welcome to the Beach Bible podcast. I am Empress Jackie Shimon and I am so happy to be

speaking with you today, connecting with you, whether you are dropping the kiddos off to school,

doing the dishes, just having a little me time, you're on a road trip with your hashtag hubby for

lifey, or you know, you're just looking for a reprieve. I am so honored and so privileged to be on

this journey with you, connecting, it's all about connection, that's what life is about. And I'd

like to start this episode off with just a quick homage to gratitude. I would like to think of

three things that I'm grateful for. I am grateful for this platform. I'm grateful for the wind,

particularly a Santa Ana wind, while it's bad for fire season in California. And ruins people's

lives, it's really good for my blow dries because the absence of humidity in the air really

prolongs the blow, the blowies. Thirdly, I'm really thankful for creative outlets, which brings me

to my announcement. Obviously, if you follow me on Instagram, you've been a little worried about me.

The cops have shown up to my house three times. They tried to make me go to Sirc Lodge. I

said, no, no, no, they tried to make me go to Betty Ford. I said, no, no, no. They tried to put me

in promises, Malibu. I said, yes, yes, yes, can I bring a flask, love a notion view. Okay.

Jackie Shimmel has lots of layers. And the root and the pit of my existence is self-amusement.

So once in a blow moon, I get a really weird idea. And I throw it out to the universe. And sometimes

it sticks and sometimes it doesn't stick. Obviously, the Helen Keller Podcasts idea, which was my first

off branch, to really become a podcasting tycoon. The Helen Keller Podcasts entitled, you know,

you're just banging your head on the on the keyboard. And those would be the titles, the descriptions,

it would have no title. And then it would just be me reading ads because I like money. So I

thought that was a really great way for me to expand my business model with doing the bare minimum.
