And the Hi, welcome back to conversations. I'm Bill Crystal joined again by our

2020 election expert Mike Murphy. We've had two of these conversations in the

last six seven weeks and just looking at them this morning they stood up well.

We spoke at the very very beginning of September, September 1st and you discussed we discussed the race which was then

about Biden plus 7 nationally and you said Mike that you thought September was

the key month where Trump would have to make a move people People focus on October, but September is when

a challenger really has an incumbent who's behind has a chance to really make up ground.

We then spoke the day after the debate on September, I think the debate was the 29th he spoke on the 30th.

Trump hadn't made up ground to September

and your initial analysis of the debate was that Trump hadn't helped himself there either.

I think right after we posted that conversation Trump we've learned out that he had

COVID and then he went to the hospital and it's been a huge amount of chaos the Supreme Court

hearings since then and that what almost three weeks since then.

But the race doesn't seem to have changed much.

So what's going on?

What's with the underlying?

Is it a stable race?

Is it, how could it be so stable with so much chaos and yeah no absolutely well first

it's great to be back on what I think we ought to retitled the never-ending

conversation but it's good luckily my dad owns the network here so you have to

take me you're right I mean one unlike many of our past exploits who actually

have been getting this one right it is kind of what it appears to be.
