voters against Trump effort, but we're not going to, we're going to be analytical here and not

tell anyone what to do. We had a conversation a month ago almost exactly.

September 1st it was and you said and I remember this was striking to me that when

the if these races are to change they more often change in September than October. Everyone focuses on

October, but September is the month where you really get to introduce a new theme or

idea that can take off, new ads that can work, new developments. We began the month, I believe, Biden was up about

seven points in the averages. We ended the month. We'll talk about the debate that happened

last night in a few minutes, but we added before the debate, Biden was up seven points in the averages so but it's not as if nothing happened right

it did beneath the surface. Anyway, tell us what happened this last month.

Well, what I would say is looking at it from a campaign point of view, September is the month where you try to introduce new issues, particularly

coming out of the conventions into the second half of September. So you frame what you're going

to litigate in the first couple of weeks of October, but then early voting kicks in and you know it

becomes more about harvesting the vote you've hopefully persuaded so what what

has happened you're right is the race has been pretty static because let me put it
