I'm back. Where have I been and what am I up to next? Let's find out.

Everybody feels like it's been forever since I've done a solo episode but here I am

Been kind of living a somewhat nomadic life probably for about a month month and a half and then we found a place to live here in Florida.

So yeah, kind of living out of Airbnbs for a while, found our place and then took some time to move,

unpack, do some yard work because of course, you know, I have my way I wanted my

front yard to look. And here I am in Florida. And what's Florida like for me? I don't know. I'm not sure I've had enough time to enjoy it.

Going out on some short hikes, done some bike riding, very flat, not something I'm really used to.

Hoping to get out and do some kayaking in a couple of weeks.

But I guess once I settle in, I'll be generating some cool outdoor content here from Florida.

Still not sure what my plans are for my two-week getaway this year.

Keeps going back and forth, it's likely pushed into August or September,

but it'll be something.

It's either going to be Tahoe Rim Trail,

maybe a Northville Plaza Trail, who knows,

maybe even finish up the Finger Lakes Trail.

Sort of leaning towards that, actually.

But anyway, that's not all that interesting.

I'm going to do something that I said I'd never do years ago when I first started the podcast.

And I'll give you a reason why. I'm going to do a gear review.

And I know I said, oh, I'm not going to do gear reviews. I'm not to do a gear review and I know I said oh I'm not going to do gear reviews I'm not an expert

Gere reviews are nothing more than a way to come up with some filler content and I'm going to

stand by that I'm not an expert first of all and manufacturing of gear and
