Well, I did it. I decided I would try to do my own bike repair.

Let's find out how that worked out for me. Hey everyone. Welcome back to Papa Bear hikes. So I needed to do some adjustments to my bike. Most notably the

brakes I was noticing the back brake just had a lot of I guess what you'd say

travel from the time I'd start to grip it

till it actually stopped. I have disc brakes and those pads thinner pads not

like the frame mounted brakes so I was a little intimidated by that.

It looked like there was a lot going on down there.

So I watched a couple of YouTube, talked to Pekabrue,

and thought, okay, I could do this, looks easy. I was able to get the exact pads online it's a common type of break

So I did the repair I replaced the brake pads and looking at them they were warm way down. I put them in and there was a

difference I felt a little difference but I'm still not there I've got a kind of

fine tune it dial it into where it really needs to be.

I might get there, but you know what I'm feeling like it might have been easier for me to just

tell somebody how to do it.

better telling other people teaching people how to do things and actually doing it myself my brain in my hands just don't

I'm going to try to do my breaks, because let's face it,

if breaks go wrong, well, that can end terribly, especially down here in Florida
