Hello, welcome to another episode of Pop Bear Hikes.

All right, we'll start this week off talking about the YouTube channel, Martin Outside.

I'm Martin Outside. My two YouTube's from last week. Actually, there were three, but we'll talk about

the first one, which was my poor old backpack. This was a short one, and I want to thank the two

people who sent in some comments on that. And if those of you who haven't watched my YouTube's,

please go check them out and make sure you subscribe. It is a work in progress, be patient,

but we're getting there. I tried something new this past week and put on something other than just

a little trip report. But then back to my videos from last week. I did one on my backpack.

My poor old go-light backpack that I've had for 15 years now, and I think she's holding up.

It weighs about two pounds, slightly over two pounds. I gave it a two and a half year period

to take it some time off, put it in the closet. But one of these mass-produced packs,

I'm not going to name the brand, but it was heavier. It had the brain on it. It had all the straps,

and you could strap this onto it. And I just wasn't happy with it. I didn't like the way it fit.

It was an internal frame as opposed to a frameless. I thought I'd give it a try. And now I'm going

back to old reliable. And all the old reliable showing some wear and tear. I saw I have that

debating. Do I buy something new? And am I getting caught up and just wanting something new and
