bunch of fucking dogs. And people say to me, how do you do it Catherine? How do

you manage to have it all? What is your advice? Should I have kids? When should I

have kids? Should I settle down with the guy I'm with now? Should I wait until I

feel that passion that you felt and I'm madly in love with like my person? How

should I live out the rest of my 20s, 30s, 40s and beyond? And I feel like my

advice at this moment in time is don't have kids at all unless you're prepared

to spend the rest of your life trying not to cry. Once you are the mother, you

will never have enough time to please everyone. You will start to slip at work.

Your kids will not be appreciative of what you do. You can't divide your time

equally between them. Do you know what Violet said to me? Violet the teenager

who you know contributes charm and humor alone to this household. I said I have

to do my podcast today. It's already late and she goes, well I want to take the

kids out. I want to go out into the city and you can go and Fred can come and

and we'll do that. And I said, no, do you know what? It's about to be Easter

holiday. I have the babysitter today. I need to take some time in the morning by

myself and do the podcast. And she said, can't you just do it while you're pushing

the pram? She wants me to walk down a busy high street with headphones and a

little microphone with Fena in a papuce, Fred in the buggy, Violet next to me,

cars, dogs, pedestrians, whatever. She would like me to take three children out
