anxiety. Social anxiety is considered to be the fear of social situations that involve

interaction with other people. It can be chronic and last for years or it can be life long.

Social anxiety is one of the main reasons people seek professional psychological treatment.

It is a disorder that can be painful. It can impact your life every day. It can impact your

relationships. It can impact the kind of work you do or the kinds of activities you become

involved in. It can impact how you interact with your children, your colleagues. It can impact

your health. Social anxiety has to do with feeling negatively judged and evaluated by other people.

It can cause extreme fear and uncertainty. And throughout this series, you will be guided

in trustworthiness, in building a trustworthy relationship with others. Because
