doula. Actually, she teaches people how to be doulas, how to be midwives. She goes by the moniker Mama Glow,

Latham Thomas. And we had a conversation that I didn't expect to have because in the midst of

everything else that's going on in this country, in this world, I didn't consider how difficult

it is to really navigate these very dangerous times that we're in, the very dangerous

waters that we're swimming in. And we're going to be our own cavalry. And I loved what she said

about that training people and being there for people when nobody else is. Up next, my

I wanted you on, first of all, to thank you for the work that you do, but also to let

folk know we're going to be our own cavalry, right?

So Urban View Gives was something that actually birthed with me driving around listening

to the Lurie Daniel Favor's show and a caller calling in. So again, everything's collaborative. Call a call in. What would it look like if everybody listening gave $30 to that particular cause? So I was like, what would that look like? $30 is something that, you know, maybe $20 we can spare on a monthly basis to supply people who don't get

the millions of millions of dollars at the time from the government. Now they get nothing.

But before, you know, the institutional organizations got a lot of money, but the people who are

actually in them streets doing the work, they don't get a lot. And so I know the work you do.

So I'm like, this is Black Maternal Health Week coming up in this month of April.

So less in his birth, April spring, we're springing forth.
