No matter how much we wish to control and have control over our life and the outcome of it,

we cannot plan for the magic that the universe wishes to bestow upon us.

And in fact, we should allow the universe to surprise us.

And in order to do that, we need to leave room for the unknown.

Today, I want to talk about the magic that you can't plan for and the lessons that I learned during taking

action towards being ready. Last week we talked about being ready isn't a feeling, it's a

fucking decision. And we are never ready. You know, we're never ready to launch that career or

that business or even have a kid or jump into that relationship

and fall in love like we're never ready because it's fucking scary and with any new thing in

life comes uncertainty and us as humans are programmed to move away from uncertainty because at our core level when we were

evolving as humans way back in the day you know we knew that if we could predict what was going to

happen we would be safe when we were cavemen's when our brains were developing we were like oh

if i can predict what time my

predator is going to be at the watering hole then i can avoid that get my water and be safe

and we've developed this addiction to certainty because it creates this illusion of security
