And it all starts, as you explored in yesterday's episode,

day one, you explored loving kindness for yourself.

Because when you feel your loving kindness and you honor yourself then you have something to share with others.

Without this it's really difficult to cultivate loving kindness, to even share with someone.

So you first start by practicing it for yourself.

Now in today's episode, I'm guiding you through stage two.

And this is where you begin to express

on a regular basis and share loving kindness for a good friend.

And it has to do with friendship being foundational to life.

When you share loving kindness with yourself,

and then you begin to cultivate loving kindness in your friendships to

consciously do this on a regular basis, your life flows so much better because we have these big important people in our life such as

our spouse or significant other in a romantic partnership.

You may have your siblings or children or your parents and all these people you might be directly related to in your life and

yet your friends are the people you choose to have in your life.

And I hear from people who tell me that their romantic partner, their spouse, is their best friend.

And that's a beautiful relationship, but it's also important according to many relationship experts not to make one person your

everything so to have your romantic loving relationship, but also to have friendships.
