Summary

For most of us, “love” is a junk drawer word. It can mean everything and nothing. But true love is rooted in God’s nature. It is radiant light invading the shadows. It's Him rescuing us from the dominion of darkness and dressing us in righteousness. True love takes action.

0:45.7	Today's passage is 1 John chapter 4, verses 9 through 10.
0:52.2	God's love was revealed among us in this way. God sent his one and only son
0:58.5	into the world so that we might live through him. Love consists in this, not that we love God,
1:06.7	but that he loved us, and sent his son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins.
1:14.0	This is the word of the Lord.
