Managing your anger is one of the most important ways to feel more at peace with

yourself and with others. The Dalai Lama mentions in his book that anger doesn't

make anything better. It makes everything worse, he says. When you are angry with someone,

ask yourself if being angry with that person is worth it. Anger does not solve the

problem but rather aggregates it. So as you settle yourself down and get ready to

meditate, know that you have the power within you to manage your thoughts

and your emotions and you're on a quest this week as well. Every week there's

a challenge you are given and the challenge for this week is to go on a patience

quest allowing yourself to slow down and acknowledge difficult

emotions especially anger and to allow yourself patience to process

this emotion. I invite you now to do just that as you sit up straight

and close your eyes. With your eyes closed see what it feels like
