And we're very happy to welcome Malcolm Honan at the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations.

Malcolm, the President of the United States, made a phone call to the King of Jordan.

And I am going to guess he's communicated to the President of Egypt as well, Mr. Sisi,

that the people of Gaza belong in Egypt because Gaza is Egypt and in Jordan, because most,

all of Jordan, I believe the population more than 50% is Palestinian from the wars of the 20th century and the president says take them back give them

a shelter Gaza is an open wound will it happen Malcolm it not, and you're absolutely right. Jordan is two-thirds

Palestinian, some even say more, and it's a very delicate balance. They also have large refugee

populations from Syria and Iraq there, and the King of Jordan, it seems, turned down. The Egyptians

turned down the proposal, although we believe several hundred thousand Palestinians have moved to Egypt.

And remember that Gaza was part of Egypt, and Egypt refused to take it back after the six-day war in 1967,

and doesn't want the responsibility nor the burden of having the Gaza and its people connected to Egypt.

So the Arab League, it seems met this morning.

They've all essentially rejected the plan that President Trump put forward.

Maybe he'll send them to Greenland if they ever make that deal.

But for now, I think that there will be some

population movement. There are other options. People want to leave Gaza. The majority of them

want to leave and establish themselves elsewhere. And the president's motivation is smart because

he's saying, look, there's no houses,

there's the situation, there's all the devastation, so it could be a temporary move,
