Recently, I got an invitation from my good friend Dave Stahoviak.

Many of you know Dave as the host of the Coaching for Leaders podcast.

Dave invited me to participate in a conversation with some of his Academy members,

and I had a great time in particular when we were talking about the topic of what's the

difference between what leaders do versus what managers do. I love this topic.

I have been paying attention to that exact topic since my earliest days as a coach.

One shelving my library is stacked with books about leadership versus management. And

years ago, I did two episodes on the topic. After the conversation with Dave and his folks,

I went back, I listened to the episodes, and I thought they were good.

It was fun also to hear the show because it was a little different back then. This was back in

2017, but the tools are really helpful. There are a lot of them. And so here's what we've done.
