Lottia Albertson-Junkins, trail runner for Brooks Running from Snowqualmie, Washington.

Lottia has been a strong athlete on the scene for a handful of years now. She's the two-time

champion of the legendary chuckin' out 50K. And this coming weekend, she'll be taking

the start line as one of the favorites at the hyper-competitive Canyons 100K in an attempt to earn

a golden ticket back to the Western States 100. It's going to be incredible, entertaining race

there on hollowed grounds outside of Auburn, California, and Lottia is going to be incredible, entertaining race there on hollowed grounds outside of Auburn, California,

and Laadia is going to be a big part of the action.

I have to say, she and I didn't really know each other.

We had never really spoken at length prior to this conversation, but I hung up our Zoom call

with an immense amount of admiration for her. I had always heard that Laudia is an

amazing person through running circles here in the Northwest, and I just loved this episode so much.
