Here you are doing one of the best things you could possibly do for yourself as you get ready to meditate.

And the quality you'll be exploring today of positivity is kindness.

And I thought I would share with you a little about what kindness can actually do for you and others.

Kindness is important because when you practice kindness to other people or even towards yourself,

you can experience a positive mental and physical change in your body that helps to lower stress levels.

You also help to lower stress levels in others when you are kind to them.

It can increase the body's production of your feel-good hormones, such as dopamine, oxytocin, and serotonin.

And some examples of kindness that are easy to do.

You can do them instantly to boost your immunity and the immunity of others.

And that is by giving compliments, sincere words of kindness to others.

And also, you can give them little gifts, including a smile or to help them with something to offer support,

and also simply to listen to someone.

That can be one of the greatest acts of kindness of all, simply to listen.
