And so this Friday, I'm going to focus on hoops, hopes, and dreams as we head into the MLK holiday weekend and all of the programs that are going on out there.

Some of you know him as Jackson on Gray's Anatomy.

All right, we'll leave that over there.

But he's the activist and a former history teacher who has been taking his time producing things that are

you know helping us learn more about history but also pressing us into service this is a little

20 minute short film that was also produced by martin luther king's daughter bernice king

it's a look at martin luther king kind of day in the life of him being out in them streets playing

basketball with the young people as a way of connecting the civil rights movement to the kids

that would not normally be connected with it. It is a beautiful, wonderfully done film. And up next

is my interview with Jesse Williams about hoops, hopes, and dreams, and so much more.
