To Italy, to Lorenzo Fiore of the Ansello Foundation,

to remind me of the Palio. This is a horse race like no other I know of.

Every year twice in the summertime in the town, the beautiful medieval town of Siena.

Lorenzo attended and overlooked it when he first introduced me to it a year or two years

ago.

As I understand, there are 17 neighborhoods in Siena.

Every year, 10 of them raced for the prize, and they raced twice a year.

The 2nd of July and the 16th of August,

except, Lorenzo, a very good evening to you,

it's been hot and sticky for weeks.

There's been no rain for weeks weeks and then what's happened to the

Let me tell I was watching the TV set from Milan until yesterday I was in Siena it was very off, clear blue sky and what

happened today that the first thunderstorm after many weeks came and made the value suspended because the tarf, which is the surface on which the horses run that is spread across all the piazza Del Campo Square,

was wet and becomes very muddy and dangerous

for the horses and the rider's.

The Palio is now scheduled for tomorrow.

Of course the people were pretty, I would say upset, but to a certain extent, you know know there is a lot of anxiety about the time that the
