are on ISS and Starliner is attached,

but they're not coming home?

What got us here?

Good evening to you, Bob.

Good evening, John. What got us here was that during the longer story than this but in this specific

mission this is the first manned mission of Starliner on this mission as

they were approaching docking several thrusters did not work.

They managed to figure out, get some of the thrusters working and they managed to dock safely.

But that thr issue has now been, I say, plaguing the engineers at Boeing and the managers

and engineers at NASA now for more than two months.

They have been trying to determine in great length

exactly what went wrong so that they can feel confident about putting the astronauts back

on Stahl line, undocking and returning to Earth with the astronauts on board and they have

crept in a direction that I didn't expect actually. I was thinking they would

definitely come home on

Stolina but over time the testing and the engineering appears to have left people

very doubtful or uncomfortable about this There was a briefing earlier this week from

NASA, not Boeing's been left out of the last two briefings, but from NASA officials
