My friend Vicki and I both have daughters, minus three and hers is five.

Vicki is no longer with her daughter's father and now has a new boyfriend, we'll call

him Cody, so Vicki and Cody are dating.

For as long as they've been together, Vicki has brushed off Cody's issues with dating

a single mother as him not liking kids.

He can never babysit because he doesn't like kids.

He's never able to help her out with errands because he doesn't like kids.

He chose to sit far away from her on the plane because her daughter hates planes and quote,

kid noises bug him.

She seems happy with them so whatever I just went with it.

When I saw them, I noticed how he wouldn't even engage with her daughter.

Now her daughter is not the best behaved element.

She's loud, doesn't have great manners, she's restless, but not so far off the scale that

it would sense when running, but Cody won't hold her, won't play with her and the second

I get not wanting to be daddy right away and I also get not liking kids.
