| 1:25.2 | I was reminded of a story that was told to me as a monk by one of my teachers. And he |
| 1:30.9 | was talking about a man who had had so long complicated story. I'll try and keep it |
| 1:36.6 | short. A man who had had an affair, this lady and this lady's husband was chasing after |
| 1:42.6 | him through the village and this monk had given him shelter in his small home. And this |
| 1:50.6 | man came to the door and said, you know I'm looking for this person. If I find him I'm |
| 1:54.1 | going to kill him. And the monk thought, well he'd taken a vow never to lie and to always |
| 1:59.6 | be honest. At the same time, if he told the truth, then this man would barge past him. |
| 2:04.8 | He would undoubtedly kill the adulterer and who knows what he might do to the monk himself. |
